Kurt & Sandra (that’s how “KuSan” was created) were travelling across Asia and particularly fell in love with Nepal – its people, culture and stunning landscapes – but also the striking style of knitted clothing. It was the era of everyone wearing earflap hats and they thought… let’s bring some home from Nepal to share with like-minded urban souls…
Something clicked, because demand was so high for their designs, that they packed in their old jobs to pursue all things warm and woolly. Beautiful, bold colourful designs have become our signature and over the years our reputation has in turn quietly grown… from London’s skate parks to chic boutiques across Europe.
23 years on that bond is still there, working with the same factory, the same knitters and a continuing commitment to bring style in an ethical and sustainable way to our loyal KuSan followers. This would not have been possible without the support of great customers, colleagues, and of course our gorgeous family and friends.
