It came about 10 years ago when we couldn’t find a rug for the house we were renovating so decided we would design our own… which we thought would be easy!
Despite there being an abundance of amazing craftspeople in Kathmandu, it was difficult to find a factory that interpreted our designs and upheld our standards for high quality.
Fortunately after a few attempts, we found just what we were looking for and since then, have been quietly collaborating with artists, architect designers, and private clients to create beautiful handmade rugs from Nepal that are totally individual.
