Our charity efforts have always been based in Nepal but this year we have decided to get involved closer to home. We are supporting the work of Brain Tumour Research, and focused on their rather apt campaign ‘Wear a Hat Day’, which took place on Friday 31st March.

Did you know that in the UK 16,000 people a year are diagnosed with brain tumours and that they are the biggest cancer killer of children in the UK? Brain tumour research is woefully underfunded: just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease, despite it killing more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer.
Brain Tumour Research is trying to raise £7 million every year to fight brain tumours.

A BIG THANK YOU to all you lovely people for getting involved. You took the time and made an effort to post photos of yourselves wearing your KuSan hat for Wear a Hat Day 2017 helping to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research. Across Facebook & Instagram we had 168 photos with a total of 227 heads! At £2 per hat, that raised £454 but we rounded it up to £500. So with some cash donations that were given to us, KuSan has donated £645 which we are delighted with. THANK YOU again for your support and don’t worry, if you missed out, there will always be next year!
